Environmentally friendly air conditioners & ventilation systems

Up until a few years ago, air conditioners used refrigerants known as CFC’s; which are now known to have a very damaging effect on the ozone layer.

For this reason, alternative refrigerants have been found – namely ‘R-407-C’, ‘R-134-A’ and ‘R-410-A’.

These ‘green’ refrigerants are manufactured to have far less chlorine content, and so the new air conditioning systems that Ander-Teknix supply and install will not harm the ozone in the way their predecessors did.

Low running costs

Good for the ozone need not mean bad for your pocket however. The new refrigerants for air conditioners are much more energy-efficient, with low running costs meaning a reduction in your home (or office) bills.
